Excellence in Learning
Progression Training provides high quality training across Wales and the UK, specialising in Health & Social Care.
Qualification and Credit Framework
All our accredited qualifications are part of the QCF Qualification and Curriculum Framework. Credits are given for each course. These can be used to build up from an Award to Certificate to a Diploma. Learners can complete an award and at a later date they can use the credits from that qualification to do a certificate or a Diploma in the future.
The Basic Skills Employer Pledge
Progression Training has signed the Basic Skills Agency pledge to improve Basic Skills in Wales. One of the ways we do this is by providing additional support to learners who need help with Basic Skills.
If you are a learner who needs extra help with literacy and numeracy skills please contact your assessor who will be able to help you.
If you are an employer and wish to find out more about signing up to the pledge and what financial support is available log onto the Basic Skills Agency web site.
As well as the QCF training, Progression Training also offer apprenticeships in the following areas;

Progression Training are able to offer government funded Modern Apprenticeships and Foundation Modern Apprenticeships
There is a wide range of opportunities open to an apprentice looking for a career in health and social care, including working as a support worker, domiciliary care worker or care assistant within the community or in a residential care setting. The apprentice could be involved in supporting older people in health, mental health or learning disability settings. They could be employed by a local authority, independant care provider or a voluntary organisation
