Viv Lawrence

Training Officer

Viv has a background in business administration and HR, having held roles across the UK before relocating to Wales. During a career break to care for her children, she volunteered at a local preschool playgroup, which inspired her to pursue a career in early years education and childcare. She began working at a sessional playgroup and progressed to achieve Level 3 and Level 5 (Advanced Practitioner) CCLD qualifications.

Viv later joined a childcare business support organisation covering Powys, where she gained extensive experience in operational oversight, quality assurance, and sector compliance, supporting multiple childcare settings to deliver high-quality services and achieve long-term sustainability.

In January 2020, Viv joined Progression Training, bringing over 14 years of sector experience. She now applies her expertise to support learners in developing their skills, upskilling, and achieving their qualifications, providing guidance and support to ensure they reach their full potential.
