Liezl Rusk

Training Officer

Liezl recently joined the team in January 2026 and brings with her a wealth of teaching and care experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Education with a major in Educational Management, both of which she achieved in the Philippines.

She also has experience working as a Training Officer in Health and Social Care in Scotland, alongside extensive frontline experience in care. Her roles progressed from Social Care Assistant to Nursing Assistant and then to Social Care Worker, working with both elderly individuals and people with learning disabilities. Throughout these years, she achieved her Level 3 and Level 4 Scottish Vocational Qualifications in Health and Social Care.

In her role as a Training Officer, Liezl is responsible for coordinating, supporting, implementing and monitoring all training, learning and assessment activities related to the awards, while maintaining standards that support the accreditation and quality assurance of all qualifications being delivered.
