Business Support Officer

Laura began her career in the Health and Social Care sector, spending four years supporting individuals to live independently in their own homes. She studied Health and Social Care at college, completing a BTEC Level 2 in Health, Social, and Childcare, and went on to achieve the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care in 2012. In 2018, seeking a better work-life balance while raising her young child, Laura transitioned into the customer service sector, where she quickly progressed into a managerial role, overseeing a team of customer service advisors.

Laura joined the Progression Training team in 2022. She works closely with the systems team to monitor quality and compliance performance, ensuring the organisation meets its targets. She has a strong understanding of the systems learners use and the qualifications they are working towards, providing vital support to learners whenever needed. Additionally, she is responsible for enrolling learners onto their apprenticeship programmes.
