Anne-Marie has over 20 years’ experience of working in the social care sector. She has supported people in hospital, community residential and educational settings in the NHS as well as in voluntary organisations in Wales.
Before moving into work based learning Anne-Marie was area manager for a number of care homes and day services for people with disabilities. Anne-Marie’s passion is supporting people to reach their potential.
Anne-Marie has worked in education and training for over 30 years. She is an Assessor, Internal Verifier and External Verifier. She is a registered Nurse (learning disabilities) and has a Master’s in Education (lifelong learning). Anne-Marie has been working for City and Guilds and with Social Care Wales and Qualifications Wales developing a new suite of qualifications in Health and Social Care.
Anne-Marie is an External Assessor for City and Guilds on Health and Social Care management qualifications, Principle Moderator in Health and Social Care for WJEC and recently co – authored a text book to support learners completing the Health and Social Care qualifications in Wales.
Anne-Marie is one of the Company Directors and Co-owners of Progression Training. This role involves all aspects of managing the business and ensuring quality of our service.
