Amie Ward

Training Officer

Amie holds a degree in Psychology and has developed extensive experience in the Health and Social Care sector. She spent seven years at Mencap supporting adults with learning disabilities, progressing from Support Worker to Service Manager for supported living and outreach services. During this period, Amie completed her Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification and subsequently became a CIW-registered Manager for a respite service for adults with learning disabilities. She is highly committed to delivering person-centred support and enabling individuals to achieve their full potential.

Following a brief period outside the sector, during which she managed a dog park and coffee shop, Amie returned to Health and Social Care as a Training Officer at Progression Training. In this capacity, she applies her extensive operational and management experience to support the development and quality of services across the sector.

Amie joined the Progression Training team in October 2024.
