Slips and trips

In 2008/09 slip and trip accidents caused 40 deaths and 15,000 major injuries, e.g. broken bones. There were also 30,000 injuries which led to staff taking more than three days off work. All in, the HSE has calculated that the cost to the UK economy is approximately £800 million. Collectively, these figures represent an improvement on previous years, but they're still way too high.

Look at HSE website on www.hse.gov.uk to see how you can reduce risk of this in your workplace.
